Hi, I'm Shelby! I am a native English speaker from Tennessee who has studied Spanish for 22 years (and counting!). I’m a Spanish teacher and translator and I help adult learners understand how Spanish actually works.

My lessons are structured, practical, conversational, and personalized to your level. We’ll work on grammar, vocabulary, listening, and real-world speaking together. 

I’ll meet you where you are, adapt lessons to the way you learn, help you feel comfortable enough to practice, and gently push you forward.

My biggest strength as a teacher is that, as a native English speaker, I can explain complicated Spanish grammar rules in a way that feels clear and manageable. I specialize in teaching students who are learning Spanish for medical, legal, or dental careers.
